Kenya Kiandu Peaberry from Kiandu washing station is located in the Central region of Kenya, grown on the fertile slopes of Mount Kenya. A part of mutheka FCS with 5643 active members with each member growing around 200-259 coffee trees.
Fully washed coffee with dry fermentation after pulping and coffee beans are soaked for 48 hrs with no mucilage also known as double fermentation. This results in a fragrance and aroma of lavender with rich flavours of red berries and sandalwood. Strong acidity with a dark chocolate and toffee aftertaste.
