The Importance of Calm in Nature
Calm Before the Storm was a Silver medal winner in the Milk Based (Latte) category at Golden Bean Australasia 2024, the world's largest coffee roasting competition.
The Calm Before the Storm was created during an extreme storm in Sydney. The streets outside our warehouse were flooded, so we decided to spend the day doing what we love most, creating, tasting and perfecting coffee. We had such fun mixing different rations and tasting coffee till it was perfect, with all that excess energy we smashed out a few games of ping pong along the way too! By the end of the day, The Calm Before the Storm was born.
What emerged was a full bodied coffee blend that packs a punch!
Complex flavours zeal together for a full body fashion of rich raisin, dried apricot, dark chocolate after tones finished with soft spice notes of clove.
These dark roast profiles lean toward a more traditional espresso experience.
