Shipping & Returns Policy

  1. Shipping
    We aim to process and dispatch all orders within 24 business hours, however, in some cases dispatch may occur 2-4 days from order, pending when the beans were roasted or when stock has been ordered. The Wood Roaster aims to bring you the freshest possible product every time.

  2. Shipping Cost
    The standard price of shipping within Australia is $8.50. Free shipping is applied to all orders over $45 for Australian purchases only. This excludes WA, NT & international orders where shipping rates are calculated based on our carrier rates.

  3. Delivery of Goods
    Our orders are delivered via the most efficient carriers for your region. Our major delivery partners include Australia Post& Go Logistics. Whilst we make every effort to track these items with our delivery partners, The Wood Roaster accepts no responsibility for any loss of, damage to, late delivery or non-delivery of goods once they have been dispatched from our warehouse. 

  4. Pricing
    All prices are in Australian dollars and are subject to change without notice.

  5. Method of Payment
    We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express,Paypal and Afterpay. However, Afterpay is not available for subscription purchases. 

  6. Coffee Subscriptions Policy
    Payments for your selected subscription are billed in accordance with the frequency of your subscription. Subscriptions can be amended at any time by logging into your account via our website.

  7. Errors and Omissions
    The Wood Roaster aims to maintain the accuracy of product images, product descriptions, stock availability and prices. We do, however, reserve the right to cancel an order and/or reverse a payment if an order has been placed based on erroneous information.

  8. Returns & Warranties
    Our Returns and Warranty Policy includes the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law and other relevant laws.

You can return an item within 7 days of purchase. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as coffee beans cannot be returned.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@thewoodroaster.com.au.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Your Rights under the Australian Consumer Law 

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The Wood Roaster will determine the extent of the failure.

  • Espresso Machines and Grinders to be used for domestic applications come with an RTB (Return To Base) 12 months manufacturers non-consumable / non-perishable parts replacement supply parts only warranty, no service or labour included. Filter water must be used. If not it will void your warranty. 
  • Accessories and any other equipment we sell only comes with any warranty as dictated by the manufacturer.

Where a failure does not amount to a major failure, The Wood Roaster is entitled to choose between providing you with a repair, replacement or other suitable remedy.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not limited by a defined time. However, the Australian Consumer Law does recognise that the relevant time period can vary from product to product, depending on factors such as the nature of the product and the price. The Wood Roaster adopts the same approach. As you can appreciate, the type of remedy we can offer you may also vary depending on how long it takes you to return the product to us.

Any liability of The Wood Roaster or our agents in connection with goods or services supplied by us to you will, subject to any non-excludable liability for breach of conditions or warranties implied by legislation and to the maximum extent permitted by law, at the election of The Wood Roaster, be limited to:

In relation to goods, the replacement or repair of the goods, the supply of equivalent goods, the payment of the cost of replacing or repairing the goods or the payment of the cost of obtaining equivalent goods; and

In relation to services, the supplying of the services again or the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.

This Warranty is transferable to a subsequent owner of a The Wood Roaster product, in the event of the sale of that product, provided that The Wood Roaster is informed in writing within 14 days of the sale of the subsequent owner’s name and contact details. The new owner of the equipment must retain the original invoice or copy thereof to be entitled to warranty service.

Warranty service is provided only within the country of purchase - i.e Australia.
