This exceptional selection offers a variety of artisan blends, each showcasing the rich and nuanced flavours that come from unique air roasting approach powered by our custom built, fully temperature controlled roaster, fuelled by wood.
Olivia
Olivia is a much loved creation as it always delivers a sweet, complex and rich espresso with notes of English Toffee, Blackcurrant, Caramelised Orange and Dark Chocolate. In milk-based beverages, the flavours are enhanced with heavy malt chocolate.
Olivia is our most popular premium blend, using an extraordinary mix of African and Oceanic beans, this blend showcases some of the worlds most unique coffee profiles.
Choc Berry
Choc Berry is our latest creation, and a personal favourite!
The fragrance of bold cacoa, raw sugar and sweet aromas in the cup comes from a perfectly blended 3 origin coffee, featuring medium to strong acidity at the front end, but a lingering dark chocolate and stone fruit flavours gives way to a berry and minty aftertaste.
PNG washed process gives a well-balanced mild and mellow dimension that offers a clean, bright tasting bean filled with exotic, fruity aromas that is earthy and spicy.
PNG has over 800 languages spoken by local tribes which has been a mayor influence for conflict and struggle in years gone by. With about 95% of coffee trade coming from relatively small producers (a couple hectares per coffee farm) most of these small family gardens would also be growing other crops like bananas, papaya, and legumes alongside the coffee.
Go Nuts
Go Nuts for our most popular blend with our busy cafes. This is a Silver award-winning blend with a high individual coffee score of 86-96. Smooth and pleasant acidity, smooth finish, nutty overtones and rich medium to full body. Tropical fruit, blueberry, orange with dark chocolate & honeycomb flavour. Medium body with a sweet toffee aftertaste. This blend won a silver medal in the 2015 Sydney Royal Fine Food Show.
A balanced blend of four unique origins that make up our signature label. There are no overwhelming flavours present... you will find a high citrus acidity on the front end, but a super clean aftertaste.
The Calm Before The Storm
Calm before the storm was created during a long blackout in Sydney. Going back to basics, we only had use of a v60 and a hand grinder! What emerged was a full bodied coffee bean that packs a punch! A complex blend with an individual cupping score of 86-94. It is rich and smooth with notes of brandy, blueberry, pineapple, and lilac. The flavour consolidates but maintains sweetness in a long, resonantly dry finish.
The full bodied nature of this blend is perfect for coffee lovers who like to know they have had a real coffee experience. This blend goes perfect with your milk based expresso coffee with a long lasting dark chocolate finish.
Calm before the storm also brings excellent results as a black coffee and thus is very popular for use in french press, plunger, filter and stove top methods.

I absolutely love these beans! I’ve only tried 2 of the 4 varieties so far, but both have been really good. The flavour is rich and full-bodied, and they’re strong enough to suit my taste without being overpowering. They make my morning coffee something I really look forward to!
Being able to get a sample pack and try different flavours before committing to a larger bag is a great idea, and the value was excellent. I’m looking forward to trying the other two varieties!

This pack includes coffees that have different flavour profiles which makes for an interesting tasting experience and yet they somehow all sit within a range that makes each one as individually satisfying as the others.
There no packaging of good ones with some lesser ones just to get them out the door.
I’m not sure how much we should attribute this to the quality of the beans, the expertise in creating the blends or the wood fired roasting. Maybe all three? Maybe there’s more to it?
Whatever it is, I’m loving it and I strongly recommend this pack either as a starter pack to help narrow down your own personal favourite or just to have a bit of variety to look forward to when you crank up your coffee machine each day. Great stuff.
S
Love the different innovative flavours and the self sealing bags are vital to keep coffee fresh. A unique blend and taste, I am a big fan

Have only tried two types so far and have thoroughly enjoyed both.
I’m expecting to have a problem deciding which type to order next.
Can certainly recommend Wood Roaster coffees, from what I’ve tried so far

Ordered the taster pack together with the Ethiopia single origin, absolutely loving all of them! My favourites from this selection of 5 are the Ethiopia single origin, Choc Berry, and Olivia with the other two not far behind - all have great flavour, they all feel like instant favourite beans! . Delivery was nice and quick (and free),the Wood Roaster is in the next state and I have many great options locally, but I'll be putting in many more orders here.

Amazing! Thank you :)
L
Amazing! Perfect coffee every time. Not even exaggerating. No dirty or bitter gross flavour like some beans from other brands get. Well worth the money. Probably the best I’ve tried so far and I’ve tried a lot of different brands over the years.

K
We bought the taster box to try a few before getting a bigger bag. Honestly- there were no duds! We will probably end up cycling through a few of them. At the moment we have Olivia- and from a true coffee snob- it’s delicious. Deep flavour and aroma, great for flat white and cappacino- the only downside is we drink too much of it now. Quick delivery too. Yup we’re hooked
J
